Welcome to Door County Social Media!  My name is Claudia Scimeca and I’ll admit it…. I am a social media addict. I am passionate about the power of  integrating social media into your business marketing strategy.  I am here to help you with your business’s social media presence.

A little bit about me…

I owned my own business, a dental practice for over 25 years. During that time, I learned what did and didn’t work when it came to marketing and promoting my business.  In 2008, I became intrigued by this relatively new phenomenon called social media.  I attended seminars and classes.  I read books and blogs.  I became hooked.  And the more I learned, the more I wanted to share the social media love.  As a result, in 2010 I started a second business, Social Media DDS which coached dentists and dental professionals in the art of social media strategy.  I spoke at dental seminars and at dental schools and helped many dental professionals become comfortable with using social media to build their businesses.  I recently retired from dentistry and moved to beautiful Door County Wisconsin.  My love of social media and how it can help grow businesses has not faded.  And so, Door County Social Media was born.
